Summer Camp
Each summer the Concert Choir and Boychoir come together at Camp Loughridge, in Tulsa, for a week of intense music study and loads of fun! The week typically begins the upcoming fall semester with regular rehearsals resuming the following week. In addition to exceptional musical and etiquette training, campers participate in swimming, hiking, fishing, canoeing, board game competitions, ping pong, and basketball. Wonderful meals are prepared on-site by the TBS Parents' Association.
Boychoir members attend camp daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and enjoy swimming, lunch, and snacks each day while members of Concert Choir stay overnight.
While camp costs vary from year to year, prices are all inclusive, with overnight campers enjoying three meals and two snack periods each day.
Staffing includes the music director, one assistant director, and two counselors whose primary concern is to provide a safe and fun learning environment for the boys. Parent volunteers are a big part of the week in assisting with additional supervision for some of the extracurricular activities.
Camp fees for 2010 will be $250 per camper.
